Leader:  Ron Altemus

Members:  Holly Carr, Jim Hudnall, 1/4 of George Chiamulera

Route:  https://ridewithgps.com/routes/25145054  Only 815' elevation gain.  Pomfret/IHRT/Bensville then Bealle Hill/Accokeek Rd to a rest stop at Accokeek East Park.  Continued on Accokeek/Danville/Floral Park to Livingston.  Farmington/Chatsworth and Livingston again to a 2nd rest stop at Dunkin Donuts.  The Wednesday Tour de Accokeek route returned us to Bryan's Road.

Weather:  much better than forecast.  Temp range from upper 60s to mid 70s; partly sunny for the majority of the ride - nowhere's near a heavy overcast.  Moving air but not an impediment.

AMS:  13.6

Mishap:  misplaced helmet mirror found in the last place it was looked for...

Report:  billed as less climbing and a more leisurely pace, several usual A/B riders looked to take it easy today instead of doing all of Steve's route to Fort Washington.  Our start was staggered - some of us caught the light immediately at MD-210, then one realized their helmet mirror was missing, told us to go on and they would catch up.  Your faithful correspondent waited at the turn onto Pomfret for the mirror challenged member - when they didn't show, it was correctly surmised that they had shortcutted via Billingsley.  By the Accokeek Park rest stop we were all together.  George must have breakfasted well, feeling his Cheerios, and he decided to accompany Steve for the entire route.  The remaining three of us road together, enjoyed the climb up Chatsworth, and rewarded ourselves with either coffee or a donut and a long conversational break at the eponymous Dunkin Donuts.  A most pleasant ride in all respects.
