Members: Jackie & Randy Schoch, Don Gardner
Route: Shortened version - Livingston Rd parking lot to White Plains and return
Weather: mostly overcast w/occasional sun; temps ranging from mid 30s to low 40s; breezes out of the southern quadrant
Report: Jackie had gloves malfunction in that her hands were cold so she and Randy turned back at the Hudnall bench. Don, on the other hand (warm!), decided to continue on to the IH Village Green once we returned to the parking lot. No much in the way of wildlife - crows, a jay, other unidentified birds. We didn't encounter any other bicyclists while there was maybe a 1/2 dozen or so walkers or joggers. At this point in the season almost all leaves are down and vegetation has died off and thus one can see farther into the woods flanking the trail with houses, etc., exposed. Not quite the feeling of isolation one gets on a summer day with full foliage.
