Leader:  Joan Oppel

Members:  Jane Hudnall, Jim Hudnall, Randy Schoch

Route: 31 miles - Somewhat flat to the Moreland store, then Gallant Green to the Celestial climb and over to Woodville/Dr Bowen. See below for why we did not follow the planned route but then came straight back on Aquasco.

Weather:  High 40s at the start and 5 minutes of drizzle. Then clouds and fairly warm for a winter day.

AMS:  Varied

Mechanicals/Mishaps:  None

Report:  Randy told us at the start that he knows the owner of P.A. Bowen farm on Dr Bowen Road, who invited him to stop by at any time. So - we did. First we admired the 20 piglets, then checked out the Farm Store and then went up to the house. Geoffrey Morrell, 92 showed us around his wonderful old house. Part of the house was built in the 1600's, other parts in the 1700's and no renovations had been done since the mid 1800's until he and his wife bought it in 2009. It was a real treat. But we spent so much time with Geoffrey that we cut our route short by a few miles.
