Brad forgot one of his gloves but fortunately I had an extra pair so that worked out. It was too cold to ride without gloves! The roads were wet from the overnight rains but Saturday was supposed to be the pick of the weekend weather-wise so off we went.
We were both cold at the start but we quickly warmed-up. We quickly got to the rest stop where I took too long of a break and we got cold again. Once we got started again we quickly warmed up again and the skies started to clear. The wind was a bit of a factor on the return but it wasn’t too bad.
Once we got back to the start, Brad headed for home and I went out to add another 10 miles. I was a bit surprised that none of the other rides had gotten back by the time I returned. Perhaps they were enjoying the improving weather.
Thanks Brad for joining me for the ride. Also, thanks to Debby for the nice route which I “borrowed”.
