To get more mileage for the regular Friday IHRT ride that starts at the Livingston Rd trail access, I planned this route that gives us 21.5 additional miles which also included some climbing. Sam Perry and Tom Short joined me on this inaugural club ride. Starting 1 hour ahead of the other ride gave us plenty of time to climb Marshall Hall Rd, recover, and get to the Livingston Rd parking lot with time to spare. We rode the IHRT to White Plains, rested and returned by way of the trail and a strong headwind. Or was it a tailwind, or crosswind? Did I mention it was windy? Anyway, Sam, Tom, and I returned to the firehouse by way of the rollers of Chapman's Landing Rd and Barry's Hill, the final climb. All in all, 41.7 miles, beautiful weather, windy, with no mishaps. Ride leader's ams 14.5 mph.
