It must be spring, even though the rest rooms at Wicomico Shores are still closed for winter. We saw what must have been around 150 GII members on the road on the way to the ride start and later on MD-6 during the ride. It was a treat to see Bob Howell and Karl Craton for the first time this year, especially so because it was Bob Howell who first led us down Aviation Yacht Club Rd to Wicomico Shores Landing. I'd passed it many times over the years, wondering what sort of craft might be found in an "Aviation Yacht Club" - PBY Catalinas and Short S23s, perhaps?
Sadly, no such thing - but still a fabulous rest stop.
