Today I had an abundance of riders to try out a new route cobbled together from old routes.  Seventeen Riders from A Class to B Class. The route has more Flats than hills, but you had to climb Dr. Bowen Road, and there was one hill that everyone underestimated near the end of Route 381.

The Rest Stop was at the Sunoco on Old Leonard Town Rd.

Prior to the ride's start, Randy Schoch had to excuse himself from the group ride after discovering damage to his bike after it had fallen from the rack.  Some riders arrived late but did call ahead, we started closer to 11:00AM.

Once begun, we fell into Faster and Fast. The Ride Leader swept the rear.

We had an option to stop at mile 27, the faster riders passed on the option and elected to finish the ride. The other riders made a short stop to regroup at Moreland Store.

Weather was great if not breezy, the Sun was out and temperatures quickly warmed up.

The Riders advised me that they did enjoy the route.  AMS up front was 18mph, and in the middle 16 mph, and in the sweep 15 mph.
