AMS: 13 mph for the sweep; faster for the front group
Report: It was a beautiful spring day for a ride as we followed the fish painted the day before for the Patuxent River Rural Legacy Ride. The painters did an outstanding job! The group quickly divided into the fast and not-so-fast riders with everyone meeting at the rest stops at Merkle and the Patuxent River Park Picnic Area. The not-so-fast group decided to cut 3 miles from the route and made it back to the park about the same time as the faster riders. I appreciate all who came out today to help me celebrate my birthday and to all who sent good wishes through Facebook and emails.
