Guests: Melissa Lectner (sp?) - Gail's sister-in-law
Route: a club fav, the IHRT from the Village Green to White Plains and return
Weather: lots of sunshine, wind out of the SW, temps ranging from the mid 70s to just about 80, and a tad more humidity than expected.
Report: a large turnout, so large with so many groupings of riders, that your faithful correspondent only saw most everyone at either the ride start or at White Plains. There were a number of other cyclists using the path along with walkers and the occasional jogger/runner. Reports were received of numerous wildlife sightings including a fawn, turtles crossing the path, kamikaze squirrels running across the path, and an owl on a drainage culvert just east of the Bumpy Oak pond. The owl was spotted by Bob Moye who circled back to try and get a second look, and in so doing, rode with Belinda and your faithful correspondent for some distance. We hope Bob will join us for the full ride from the Village Green in the near future.
