Route:  Bryans Rd to Riverside, 44 miles

Weather:  A beautiful, sunny day.  Temps up to the low 80's

AMS:  15.5 mph

Mechanicals/mishaps:  1 flat tire at the rest stop,  one rider with chain/drivetrain issues, and one rider who turned back due to the heat and a hard ride the day before

Report:  5 members and 1 guest took advantage of sunshine and warmer temperatures tof ride in Southern Charles County.  Within the first few miles one rider was having issues with his chain/drivetrain that needed more than a roadside repair so he headed back to the start.  Because of the temperature and having ridden the day before, another rider decided to end his ride early and  also headed back to the start.  At the end of the rest stop at the Nanjemoy Store (which is now open and the owners were very hospitable!), a third rider realized he had a flat tire.  It was quickly changed and because he doesn't patch tubes, he gave it to me.  I'll patch it and put it with my stash of tubes, new and patched.  We continued on, stopping for a second rest stop at the Pisgah store, then some time on the Indian Head Rail Trail, before climbing Bumpy Oak Rd, the last hill before returning back to the start.  With the exceptions of the mechanicals, it was a good ride on a pretty route.
