Route: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/27781147 35.2 miles, 1,117' elevation gain. Pomfret, Marshall Corner, Valley, MD-6, and Blossom Point to a rest stop at everyone's favorite, Goose Bay. Onwards via Mill Swamp, MD-6, Fire Tower, Annapolis Woods, and Poorhouse to Pisgah. Final leg using Mason Spring and Livingston.
Weather: another terrific Tuesday! Sunshine and cloudless blue skies, temps in the 70s, and low humidity, all courtesy of NW breezes that were noticeable on our return routing.
AMS: swept in the mid 12s. Most of the friends were much faster.
Mechanicals/Mishaps: Larry's tail light bounced off his bike on Mill Swamp but the sweeper swept it up so he won't need to buy a new one.
Report: with such a mixture of B and true CC touring riders, we were broken up into smaller groups very quickly. Most of us came together at Goose Bay before once again breaking into groups. A larger CC contingent rode back together until most of the group decided to tour the Stuckeys (Lane & Road). Your faithful correspondent continued on the original route just in case and encountered a few riders at Pisgah. From there, we rode back together. All in all, another great day for bicycling on some very nice Charles County roads.
