We had a light turnout for the ride. Perhaps folks were worried about storms but the chances were low.
The ride was together until the bottom of the hill on Route 6. The ride split on the hill with two riders separately off the front and the trailing pack. The two off the front were subsumed into the pack by the light at Penn’s Hill Road.
We got a few sprinkles of rain towards the south end of the ride. At first it was unclear if it was rain or we were dripping sweat on each other. Anyway, it was rain but it never amounted to much.
One rider was off the back at the hill on Budd’s Creek Rd. but the pack eased-off until they caught up. After that, the group was together until the final sprint to the end so everyone should have the same average.
It was another good ride.
