Everyone was together until the hill on Route 6 where we lost two riders. After that, the pack was together until the hill on Budd’s Creek Road. At that point, the pack split into multiple groups; the trailing groups quickly combined on Route 301 into one chase group. The chase group eventually caught the lead group of two riders on Route 301. Following this, the pack stayed together until the end.
We used Brad’s alternate route to avoid the new chip seal on Bowling Road. This worked pretty well although there was more traffic than I would like on Penn’s Hill Road.
It was another fun ride.
