Route 6 is still ugly due to the pavement milling so we used the alternate route (https://ridewithgps.com/routes/22065398).
Once again, this week we separated at the hill on Chapel Point Road; the group quickly got back together after the hill. We broke apart at the hill on Pope’s Creek Road and regrouped at the intersection of Edge Hill Road. Other than that, the group stayed together with each rider taking turns at the front.
This was the last CJE ride of the year (at least that I am leading). It was a good year except we had one significant crash this year, which is unfortunate. The weather mostly cooperated despite the wet weather early in the season (we could use some of that now). I look forward to seeing everyone again in 2020.
