Guests: Guy Razzi
Route: Indian Head Rail Trail, Livingston Road parking lot to White Plains and return. A number of riders arrived early and did the western section to the Village Green and then met up with the rest of us at the parking lot.
Weather: though it's now Fall, today was a great late summer kind of day. Copious sunshine, temps in the upper 70s/low 80s, no humidity, and refreshing breezes that seemed to always be head winds.
Mechanicals/Mishaps: John flatted (new tire!) near the Bumpy Oak pond. Since he was also having trouble with a shifter cable, he decided to cross train and walk back to the parking lot before heading over to the Bike Doctor for the necessary repairs.
Report: really nice to have the Hoyles join us on their trikes and Guy as a guest. As is customary for the Friday rides, lots of small groups of riders traveling at their own preferred rates of speed. No wildlife sightings but numerous other trail users, mostly cyclists and walkers. Eight of us ventured on to the Lunch Box in Bryan's Road afterwards and replenished the calories expended riding.
