Route: Indian Head Rail Trail, Livingston Rd parking lot to White Plains and return
Weather: coolish temps (low to mid 60s) with brilliant sunshine and northerly breezes >10 mph
AMS: swept in the mid 12s
Report: maybe too cool/cold for some, but nonetheless a very nice day to be riding. From the sweep position, it appeared that pairs formed according to desired speed and/or conversational interests. No wildlife observed by your faithful correspondent until after the ride when a herd of deer were seen crossing the trail east of the parking lot. Numerous other trail users, including one woman, who upon encountering us at the Livingston Rd parking lot after we had finished, asked how much farther to the trail's end. She said she had started at White Plains and wanted to walk the entire trail. Not sure if she was planning on walking all the way back! The majority of us went on to the Lunch Box for more conversation and good food.
