A perfect day for riding.  Overcast, so no sunburn; not too humid and no wind.

This event is very rough on the bikes, as the roads are very bumpy--potholes, tree roots pushing up pavement. There are a lot of people riding mountain bikes on this one -- they probably had the smoothest time; I rode my hybrid and did fine; Tony was on a road bike, but wished he was on something else!   That aside, it is a lot of fun and I recommend it.

There is a 20 something ride, a 35 mile ride and a 60 something ride.  You get to see the various parks and neighborhoods of Baltimore -- from forest to rowhouses; from million dollar houses to inner harbor and Federal Hill.

The tshirts are always interesting.  The rest stops are basic.  The people are friendly.  Everybody I saw seemed to be having a good time.
