We tried a few new things today. Having a shorter route join at Baggett Park wasn't exactly new, but it worked brilliantly, providing a 40 mile route that included the most scenic parts of the route. We also went on Old Hollywood Rd after leaving McKay's, and not only was it interesting, we also got to see a herd of miniature donkeys including several with unusual pinto(?) coloring. There was a big festival at Sotterley, the 16th Annual Riverside WineFest providing a festive atmosphere and many visitors but also a lot of traffic on the way to Sotterley. Some enjoyed the crowds, some didn't.
